The following guidelines are in effect as of the date above and must be observed.

- All grave spaced in the new section of the cemetery are to be sold in rotation unless written approval of the Cemetery Board is obtained. (A grave space size is 4′ x 10′).
-
- Effective September 1, 2022, the cost of a grave space in the cemeteries or niche in the columbarium shall be as follows. GRAVE SPACES: Parishioner grave space- $400.00. All engraving will be “TImes New Roman” font and must be done by Wommack Monument Co. (WMCo.). When engraving is to be accomplished, a Board member will take the dor to WMCo. The family will provide the inscription for the door. After the family approves WMCo’s copy of the inscription for the door, the approved inscription will be returned to WMCo for engraving. WMCo will provide the completed door to a Board member for installation. There is a one-time fee of $300.00 per individual for on-going maintenance of the cemeteries at the time of purchase of the grave space or at time of burial. This applies whether it is buried cremains, cremains placed in a niche or a traditional burial. Cremains must be buried or placed in a niche in the columbarium. The scattering of cremains on a grave or in the cemetery is strictly prohibited by the Catholic Church. All prices are subject to change without notice.
-
- ALL PERMANENT IMPROVEMENTS of grave spaces by the erection of monuments, other than ordinary stones and military markers, must be submitted to the proper authority (the Cemetery Board) before being carried out (accomplished).
- NO planting of any kind is allowed in the cemeteries. For example: planting trees, flowers (except for crocuses), shrubs, as well as embedding flowerpots, statues, etc. “on” graves are prohibited. No chemicals shall be used on the Cemetery lawn, including weed killers. Zoya grass seed and fertilizer may be used.
- There are to be no flowers etc. on the ground during mowing season, (April through September) except for Memorial Day. All flowers, natural or artificial, must be removed by Memorial Day if they are on the ground and NOT in permanent vases that are attached to the base of the headstone. If left on the ground in the way of mowers and weed eaters, they will be removed. This includes all figurines, flowers, decorative rocks, and any decorative items such as shepherd hooks, solar lights etc… All items such as glass jars and vases are prohibited due to the fact that if they are broken they could possibly cause injury. Veteran and Knights of Columbus flag holders are allowed and can remain.
- Every new grave should be marked with a permanent headstone within 12 months. All stones must be in aligned with current markers and must meet the Cemetery Board’s specifications. Headstone footings must be 16 to 18 inches deep and the same size as the base of the headstone or concrete pad (apron). Footings for Military Veterans, infant markers, and smaller markers (flush with ground) can be 4 inches deep. The width of the monument or stone must not exceed the grave space size. If you are unsure about the grave space size, please contact the Cemetery Board Chairman. Monuments or markers must not exceed a maximum height of 42 inches above the ground. (The base of the stone is included in the 42 inches). A. All Veteran markers shall be flush with the ground and located at the foot of the grave, so that mowers can pass over the marker without damaging it. This does not pertain to Veteran markers that are attached to an upright marker or used as the main headstone. B. Infant markers should be at least 13 inches wide by 6 inches tall minimum (13×6) and must be flush with the ground to prevent damage during mowing. C. Prior to setting any stone or monument, the Cemetery Board Chairman or Vice-Chairman must be notified. If neither can be reached, then the St. Mary’s Church Secretary must be contacted. A member of the Cemetery Board must be present at the time the stone or monument is set in place. D. Benches in the cemetery are prohibited. Long ledgers that cover the entire length of the grave are also prohibited.
- The Cemetery Board reserves the right to make any additional changes as requires or as needed.
